2. Service Description
CueContact offers tools to create, manage, and track QR codes for marketing and operational purposes. Our platform includes anonymous tracking features, allowing users to collect and analyze data on how often and where their QR codes are scanned, enhancing user engagement insights without compromising individual privacy.
3. User Registration and Account Security
Users must register to create an account. It is the user's responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of their account details and to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of their account. CueContact offers secure access to the platform and has end-to-end encryption for your privacy and security.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
Users agree not to use CueContact for any unlawful purposes or in ways that could disrupt, damage, or negatively affect the service or others’ use of the service. Prohibited activities include generating or distributing QR codes that contain malicious content or lead to illegal websites.
5. Fees, Payments, and Account Suspension
CueContact operates on a subscription basis. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable, except as expressly provided in these terms. If a payment fails, the user’s QR codes will be suspended, and the account will be at risk of termination. A 60-day grace period will be provided for the user to rectify the payment failure, after which the account may be shut down and QR codes permanently removed from the system.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in CueContact and its underlying software are owned by or licensed to Boost2Business. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without explicit permission. Users retain ownership of the content they create but grant CueContact a license to use, reproduce, and display the content as part of the service.
7. Termination and Suspension
CueContact reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user's account if the user breaches these terms or engages in prohibited activities. Users can terminate their account(s) anytime through their account settings.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
CueContact is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. CueContact will not be liable for any QR codes that do not function properly due to server failures or other reasons.
9. Data Protection
Data security is paramount at CueContact. We utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host and secure our data, adhering to AWS’s robust security protocols to ensure data integrity and protection.
10. Amendments to Terms
CueContact reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and are also designed to comply with broader legal standards across North America.
